About Us

Welcome to Dahlias on the Methow. Our farm is located in Twisp, Washington, on the beautiful Methow River. 

My name is Alisha and the dahlias are my pride and joy. Along with my husband and 4 children, this is a family affair. The kids help with planting, weeding, digging and whatever else we can find for them to help with. I have been growing dahlias for about 12 years. Dahlias on the Methow launched in 2024. 

We are located in the North Cascade mountains in the beautiful Methow Valley. In 2015 we purchased a beautiful homestead in Twisp on 20 acres located on the Methow River. We grow over 400 varieties and currently grow over 3000 dahlias. In addition to dahlias, we also raise Gypsy Vanner horses and AKC puppies. We have been growing dahlias for 13 years and selling tubers & cuttings for 7 years. This is a family affair, all the kids help plant, weed, water and harvest the dahlias all season long. 

We are licensed and inspected annually by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. Our farm is not open to the public. We mainly focus on selling tubers and cuttings. In 2026 we will begin selling cut flowers as wholesale for floral design work. 

Diligent care is taken with our dahlias to keep viruses at bay. We sterilize between cuts and when dividing tubers with Virkon S. All of our plants are closely monitored by us for issues such as pests, viruses or nutritional needs. All of our dahlias are grown by us on our farm. We do not grow import tubers. 

I never thought I'd be a flower farmer, but here I am and loving every moment of it. Thank you for cheering us on and your continued support of our small business.
